No Ebola in Macedonia

11/10/2014 00:00

The tests made on the person who was found dead in a Macedonian hotel
resulted negative for Ebola. The tests were done in Germany, and forced
even Albanian authorities to wait them impatiently, due to the close
geographic position.

“The result has arrived and it is negative. It means that the patient didn’t have Ebola. We have issued an order to remove the people in that hotel from quarantine”, declared the Health Minister, Jovanka Kostova.

25 people were kept in quarantine in this hotel. Some of them left the hotel as soon as they heard the news, others will stay some more days.

“The first day was difficult. We had to eat in the same room. We stayed there, because we feared it was a dangerous virus. The staff was good and we didn’t have problems. Our only concern was the lack of information”, tourists said.

Sources from the health industry said that now they will perform an autopsy on the body for finding the real cause of his death.
