Nishani: Through Balkan without visa

The Albanian Minister of Interior Affairs, Bujar Nishani, asked support
for the request of the Albanian government to create a free movement for
the citizens within the Balkan states, using only identity cards.

During a meeting of Balkan Interior Ministers for securing the borders, Albania and Serbia signed an agreement for allowing again respective citizens with unauthorized residency permit.

“We have a very good mutual cooperation on the war against criminality, free movement of our citizens, who can now travel without visas. We are committed to respect the laws and regulations of each country”, Nishani said.

Serbian Interior Minister, Ivica Dacic, answered to the media who were interested about the Albanian request of including Kosovo in this forum.

The Serbian Interior Minister considered this agreement signed in Durrës as a step forward for the relations between Serbia and Albania, which, according to him, are improving.
