Nishani thanks the Albanian Police

The newly elected president, Bujar Nishani, is not losing any time for
cutting his ties with the Interior Ministry structures, one of the most
important institutions in the country, which he led until Monday
afternoon.
In the meetings with the state police leaders, Mr. Nishani expressed his gratitude and thanked the police for the achievements in securing safety for the citizens and guaranteeing their rights.
“The standard set by the state police today in creating an environment completely detached from political influences, guarantees the law and order for individuals, political groups and activities. This appreciation has come to you from the Albanian citizens, first of all, and this is the best evaluation for a state operative”, Nishani declared.
Before taking his duty as President, Nishani advised the State Police leaders that beyond professionalism, which is indispensable, integrity is what should characterize them, as the instrument that facilitates the work and helps achieving bigger successes.
