Starting from the next week, Italian officers will monitor the Albanian
border near Greece. They will bring experts and equipments, after a
discussion between the Interior Ministers of both countries.
Everything is part of a preparation to prevent terrorists that enter Europe pretending to be immigrants.
The Italian authorities have successfully cooperated with their Albanian colleagues even in the fight against the cultivation of narcotics.
The meeting was held one day after the US State Department valued the cooperation between Italy and Albania.
The Albanian Ministry of Interior was the one asking for assistance, especially as regards human resources.
