Newly paved road is reconstructed

The Tirana Municipality has reconstructed a road segment that connects
the Robert Schwartz street with the Skender Luarasi street, which had
been already paved but that Mayor Lulzim Basha declared that it was a
simple electoral road.
“The works on this road do not fulfill even the minimal criteria. It floods every time that there is a rain, because it lacks of the canalizations, while the sewage waters are treated individually by the residents. I am pleased by the modern European parameters that we are investing in roads, as well as I am determined to not pave electoral roads anymore”, Basha declared.
The segment that is being reconstructed for the second time within three years is 280 meters long and it will be enlarged with several other meters. The project foresees the construction of canals and the planting of trees. The value for this reconstruction mounts up to 24 million ALL and is expected to end within 8 months.
