New segment of Tirana’s Big Ring Road opens Saturday, before Monday’s school traffic

Four days from the new academic year, the Tirana Municipality has
prepared a plan to reduce traffic that is increased especially by
students.
“We have a plan of measures with specific tasks to all officers. There will be checkpoints in all of Tirana’s entrance roads”, said Gentjan Vocaj, Chief of Traffic at the Municipal Police.
What will help traffic the most is the new segment of Tirana’s Big Ring Road which connects the city’s busiest areas. The overpass of this road will opn Saturday, two days before the academic year 2017-2018.
