New government voted in Macedonia

The Parliament of Macedonia approved the new government with Zoran Zaev as Prime Minister.

Zaev’s government received 62 votes in favor and 44 against.

Six ministries will be led by Albanians, one of which without portfolio. Two Deputy Prime Ministers will also be Albanian.

This step comes after a prolonged political crisis which started with President Ivanov refusing to mandate Zaev.
