Explosions in Northern Kosovo have not stopped. After the murder of the
Albanian citizen, Selver Haradinaj, two other explosions took place in
the area, one on this Monday morning, and the first during midnight.

Fortunately, there were no victims from both explosions, even the one that took place in the area with Serbian majority, but the residents of Northern Mitrovica are in shock.

The Serbian media report that a Serbian senior citizen had been beaten as retaliation to the murder of Selver Haradinaj. Police declared that more troops have been sent in the areas shared by both Albanians and Serbs.

Selver Haradinaj was killed in the first hours of this Sunday, after an explosive charge blew up at his house, where he lived with five other family members.

The blast killed Selver Haradinaj, while his four children and wife escaped with non lethal injuries.

Police has still no information for the motives that caused this criminal act, but a possible ethnic conflict between Serbian and Albanian groups is not ruled out from the investigations.

The residents declared that the blast was very powerful and has also damaged the surrounding houses, creating insecurity and fear to the Albanian residents of Northern Mitrovica.
