New CEC members take oath

The seven new members of the Central Election Commission sworn today at
Parliament. They were all elected according to the new electoral law and
the reformation of this Commission.

Speaker Jozefina Topalli read the oath text, which demands them to commit in front the Constitution and take the oath to work with all their forces in order to realize fair, free and democratic elections, that they will secure the vote secrecy and that they will show professionalism in their job.

The new panel is composed of Lefterie Lleshi, as Chairwoman of the Commission, and members Vera Shtjefni, Hysen Osmanaj, Albana Shtylla, Denar Biba, Ilirian Muho and Jani Jani. The new CEC Chairwoman was head of the Parliament administration and a High Council of Justice member.
