New attack against Albanians in Skopje

Another violent attack against ethnic Albanians took place in Skopje,
where a 16-year-old Albanian girl was attacked by two masked men who
caused her severe damages on the head and other parts of the body.

The Albanian media say that the girl was attacked near the Dimitar Vllahov schools. She has been punched and even stabbed.

The case has also been confirmed by the Interior Ministry in Skopje. Spokesperson Ivo Kotevski declared that the girl is outside life threatening dangers and that the police is working to find the authors.

A few days ago a group of Albanian students were brutally attacked by a mob of Macedonian extremists. A 13 year old Albanian received serious injuries, and this was not the first incident of this type which has increased tensions in the country.

This Saturday, a group of Albanian citizens protested against these acts of violence. The peaceful protest was provoked by the excessive number of police forces, which made protesters clash with the authorities.
