An Israeli team has arrived in Tirana after the devastating earthquake of November 26th, to help rebuild the affected buildings.
The “Jerusalem Post” quotes the Israeli PM: “We know that Albania is a good friend of Israel. We never forget our friends.”
A team of 10 Israeli experts has arrived in Tirana to help with the rebuilding efforts.
“This team shows once again the excellent relations between our countries”, said the Foreign Israeli Minister, Izrael Katz.
Albania and Israel established their diplomatic relations in 1991 when the most isolated Balkan country left the Iron Curtain behind.
Albania is now considered a good friend of Israel and often votes in its favor in main international matters.
