Vlore Court gave the security measure of imprisonment until extradition for the Italian citizen Giuseppe Simonelli.
This Italian citizen is accused of participating in criminal gangs and trafficking of narcotics, while he will stay under police custody until extradition.
Simonelli is one of Ndrangheta’s bosses who escaped to a police operation in Bologna, Italy. He was caught in Vlore, while in vacancies.
The 32-year-old Giuseppe Simonelli, known with the alias “Paco”, was one of the few bosses who was not arrested by the Italian anti-mafia, which executed a Bologna Court order for arresting 17 Italian citizens suspected for drug traffic and mafia connections.
The Italian boss of Ndrangheta was wanted by the Italian police after being accused of financing and preparing the transportation of 1600 kg of cocaine, in cooperation with many others.
