The Commander of the NATO forces based in Naples, James Foggo, expressed his concern regarding Kosovo’s decision to raise taxes on goods coming from Serbia with 100%.
According to him, this would isolate Kosovo even more.
“Serbia and Kosovo aspire to join the Euro-Atlantic institutions. This is important for both countries. However, I am concerned by the recent decisions, such as the increased fee on Serbian goods, which could make Kosovo even more isolated. Does this decision serve to the Euro-Atlantic integration? How can we progress in 2019”, the Commander said, appealing both Kosovo and Serbia to cooperate and reduce tensions.
