Meetings between rival political leaders should not be seen as big news,
said the leader of the Democratic Party after a meeting with the
Socialist MP, Pandeli Majko.
But the meeting of the former Prime Minister of the Socialist Party and the current leader of the Democratic Party, did make a news for the Albanian media.
They talked for about half an hour, apparently about the meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly which starts in Albania on May 27th. Both politicians confirmed the purpose of this unusual meeting.
Majko leads the NATO Parliamentary delegation and invited the opposition leader to be part of the works.
