“Nation’s Road” toll fee, Haradinaj: “If asked, Kosovo would have helped pay for it”

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, is the latest voice added to the list of Kosovo officials who say they were not consulted by the Albanian government about the “Nation’s Road” toll fee.
In an interview for Ylli Rakipi’s show “The Unexposed”, the Prime Minister of Kosovo didn’t exclude that, if asked, Prishtina could have contributed to maintain the road.
Haradinaj declared that he is not against the road, but he insists that the current price is very high.
According to the Kosovo government leader, this tax can damage relations between both countries, especially trade and tourism.
When asked by Rakipi if Kosovo was thinking about applying a toll fee on the other side of the road, Haradinaj said that it will not happen during his term as Prime Minister, but it could happen in the future.
