Nation’s Road blocked

The Police had to intervene to unblock the Nation’s Road from hundreds of Kukes villages’ residents.
The residents of Terthore, Shtiqen and Bicaj protested against the power interruption by CEZ. CEZ interrupted their power supply after these villages do not pay the electricity.
The residents blocked the road and didn’t allow any vehicle to pass. The CEZ company declared that they had cut the power supply for the residents that haven’t paid the bills, but after they surrounded the Power Station, CEZ cut the power even to the station which caused a blackout in the entire town of Kukes.
The residents declared that they will start paying only after receiving the compensation for the lands that were flooded by the Fierza lake.
