EU Ambassador in Albania Luigi Soreca, present today at the National Integration Council, said that everyone should make an effort to integrate the country into the EU.
“We are ready, we will soon present the negotiating framework. Member states have urged Albania to take the final steps. Work should proceed in parallel for all elements. We will support Albania in implementing all elements of the plan. The regulatory framework will represent the new rules in this process. Now it is up to you, important, to show a spirit of cooperation “, said Soreca.
Meanwhile, Gent Cakaj, acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, spoke about the latest developments in the framework of preparations for the negotiation process in the European Union, presenting the draft comprehensive plan of European Integration measures.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi also addressed the panel.
