National environment cleaning action

On the “Clean Albania” day, the process was mainly focused on the beaches and public environments.
In this action were engaged the military forces and school children, with few volunteers from the state administration.
The residents remained indifferent. 50 police agents, supported by the students, started cleaning near the Police Department and in many roads of the coastal city.
The same practice was followed in the cities of Elbasan, Fier, Lushnje, Korce and Shkoder.
The Mayor of Tirana joined the volunteers and declared that the City Hall will make available two phone numbers when people can report polluters.
“We have to keep our city clean, not for the Municipality or the government, but for ourselves”, he declared.
Basha added that 2000 new rubbish bins will be added to Tirana, and he asked the citizens to pay the cleaning fee as a contribution for a better city.
While Prime Minister Berisha visited the Kamez Municipality, where the waste management center will be constructed.
