The Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, said during the report of the
Prosecution of Serious Crimes that the number of criminal reports at the
anti-corruption unit was low.
The PG spoke about the National Bureau of Investigations, saying that he supports the government’s draft, although he has some reserves.
“We are all part of the discussions for the specialized police unit that will be created. This structure will increase the police capacities in the fight against corruption. The Prosecution has its reserves about the draft, and our stance is similar to what was made public by the Union of Prosecutors”, Llalla said.
The PG aid that the fight against organized crime is competence of this Prosecution. He asked for more commitment for finding evidence that can seize properties owned by the crime.
