Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
Fatos Nano, who was self-offered as candidate for president, valued the
meeting between Berisha and Rama, but believes that they did not produce
a concrete result, burning this way the second round.
Same as in the last two days, Nano preferred to speak through press releases with the “Nano for President” movement.
Nano says that if he will become president, he will meet the two main leaders weekly, promising to turn this into a permanent tradition.
According to the former Prime Minister, this would serve as a breakfast of work, reflection and prays between the Albanian President, the Prime Minister and the opposition leader.
Nano asked Berisha and Rama to elect the best product for president. He says that both leaders should not allow cynical games for power, and use the consensus for alibi.
For Nano, Albania needs a President that can support the independent institutions. He says that although he is hurt by Edi Rama’s hesitation to offer him as a president, Nano encourages the SP leader to come and discuss.
As for Berisha, Nano wants to remind him that he is an experienced politician that has served for many years in the Albanian government.
