Nano: Disappointed by Berisha’ reacion

“I have a deep disappointment for the reaction of the majority leader, Sali Berisha, who was unable to give up from his close party calculations, or those with the coalition. Berisha was unable to act, speak and behave as a man of state, as his duty demands”, the declaration says.

“Berisha showed that his lust for power, for the coalition and the party overcomes the love for the country and its EU integration”.

Nano: Nishani’s candidacy, a Constitutional gaffe

Fatos Nano appealed the government that Bujar Nishani’s candidacy is a serious constitutional gaffe and risks turning into a serious constitutional infringement.

“According to the Albanian Constitution, a Minister of the Government cannot candidate for President if he has not resigned first. And his resignation is valid only if it is accepted by the President and then voted by the Parliament”, the declaration says.

According to Nano, the Minister, now candidate for President, is unable to vote for himself as an MP.

Nano asked the government to not deepen the crisis with other constitutional infringements, besides the serious moral and political ones that have been made so far.

Nano appeals SP: Let’s win this race together

The self-declared candidate for President, Fatos Nanjo, considered as a shame the situation that has been created so far, and asked the Socialist Party to run together with him, for future victories.
