Mystery of an arrest in Tirana

The Court of Tirana gave a house arrest order for the 30 year old Denis
Shimilli, arrested two days ago after the Albanian Secret Service
suspected that he kept explosives at his residence.

The 30-year-old that was filed by the police as a radical Muslim was arrested after the police found at his house two explosive triggers and a cell phone connected to them.

The Police official communication did not notify the arrest, while the security measure was given this Friday, by avoiding even the presence of his defense lawyer.

When contacted by Top Channel, his lawyer confirmed that he had been notified for another time, and the Court had not notified him about the change.

Now the suspect is obliged to have a defensive lawyer offered by the state. The defendant declared that he kept the explosives for fishing.
