After the deaths of Blerina Balla and Aida Dosku from the Qender
Librazhd village, the hospital of this town has received two other cases
with the same symptoms.
The doctors doubt that the new patients, Flutura and Fatos Allkja, 19 and 28, might have been affected by hemorrhagic fever or any other infective disease.
“This is not flu. It might be hemorrhagic fever, but also an infective disease. A similar case came from another village”, declared the head of the Hospital, Gjergji Dhono.
The parents of the two children expressed their concern for not knowing the origin of this disease that has affected their children, who are now receiving the necessary treatment.
“I was shocked by the death of the young girl. When I visited her at home and she told me that she had a head ache, I was very concerned. We all breathe the smoke that has covered our town”, says Razie Allkja.
A team from the Hygiene Sector has gone to Librazhd for determining the origin of the virus that is spreading throughout the village.
