The residents of a Tirana suburb witnessed a fire exchange between two people who tried to kill each other.
They were blocked by the police effectives, who appealed them to stop shooting.
Since no one answered to the police, the agents were obliged to fire warning shots in the air and stop both of the men after following them for several meters. Fatmir Serjani had remained wounded by Ilir Pellumbi, according to the Police.
Pellumbi was stopped a few meters further, while trying to dispose the weapon.
Police declared that the motive was jealousy about a woman, but nothing is official yet.
The police has increased the patrolling around Tirana due to the recent crimes.
