The General Prosecution tasked the Prosecution of Serious Crimes to
proceed with the murder of Isa Cope, former Head of the Secret Service
Counterintelligence.
Reliable sources said for Top Channel that Prosecutor General Adriatik Lalla held a meeting to analyze this event not only with the Prosecution representatives, but also with Secret Service officials.
The case has not arrived yet at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, with new secret evidence that cannot be published.
Isa Copa’s body was found inside his burned car, while the family had reported his disappearance a few hours earlier. Durres Police declared that the victim was seen taking bottles of petrol before the fatal tragedy, and a goodbye SMS was sent to his son’s phone.
The police added that the preliminary evidence lead to a suicide case, but the German lab results arrived with some doubts that were never admitted loudly.
The Spokesperson for the Prosecutor General, Albi Serani, refused to comment the purpose of the meeting between Secret Service representatives and PG Adriatic Lalla.
