Murder of Deliu’s friend

The Tirana Police is investigating the murder of Admirim Sako, the
37-year-old ex-convict for distribution and production of narcotic
substances, and for illegal arm possession. According to the police,
Sako was flagged by the Police as a person that should be kept under
surveillance.

The police think that his execution might be related to several conflicts that the victims has had, especially with international drug trafficking groups in which one of Sako’s friends, Elton Deliu, died in 2008.

Sako was administering some properties together with Deliu’s wife. Police found three bullet shells proving that there was only one murderer.

Since the Myslym Shyri road is very populated, he blended in with the pedestrians. Police thinks that the victim has not recognized the author, based on the fact that he hasn’t tried to avoid him. The execution might have been carried out by a paid assassin.
