The Municipality of Tirana and its network of volunteers have distributed food, clothes and other materials to families affected by recent floods.
Mayor Veliaj thanked volunteers who helped to distribute aid in Sharra, Kombinat and other suburbs of Tirana.
Urban areas, according to Veliaj, didn’t face major problems thanks to recent long-term investments made by the municipality.
Now, the Tirana Municipality will address its attention to rural areas.
Veliaj appreciated the fact that Tirana showed its solidarity by responding in time to citizens in need, in these hard moments.
