Municipality: Vendors to free sidewalks

The Municipality of Tirana asks all vendors and bar owners
who exert their activity on the sidewalks to free these areas until 1
October 2011.
Almost all roads of the Albanian capital have tables from bars that impede the citizens’ circulation.
Asking the understanding of the owners, the Municipality warns that:
“If these spaces will not be freed by October 1st, then the Municipality Police will intervene for not allowing anyone to violate the law”.
Parking area at “Taiwan” removed
The bulldozers of the Tirana Construction Inspectorate and the Municipal Police entered the premises of “Taiwan” entertainment centers, for releasing the areas that according to them have been illegally occupied and used as a parking lot.
The director of the Municipality Police had harsh debates with the managers of the “Taiwan” complex, situated in this area of the park.
The Chief of the Municipal Police declared that they will liberate all illegally occupied areas.
Other directors of the Municipal Police declared that they will verify if the complex is within the conditions predicted in the project and if the construction exceed the limits.
