Municipality: Children in need to be identified

Tirana Municipality has ordered 11 Tirana Municipal Units to start identifying children that need social assistance.
The Tirana Municipality vice Mayor, Jorida Tabaku, declared that based on the law for protecting the children’s right, all social administrators of any Municipal Unit must report the cases of children that suffer social and economic problems.
According to Tabaku, Tirana Municipality will open new social centers at each unit, for protecting the children’s right. The first center was opened today at the Municipal Unit 4, with the financial support of UNICEF. The children in these centers will benefit services such as education and health assistance.
