Municipality asked to show permit for cutting forest

After two weeks of protests and public appeals, representatives from the
Eco-movement and the association for the protection of the cultural and
historical heritage have filed a request at the Tirana Municipality,
where they ask the Mayor to publish the construction permit for the
Elbasan street road widening.

“We have made all possible report, but there has been no answer. We want to know if there is a permit for everything that is going on there. We want to help the Tirana Municipality, if there have been illegal constructions and if the Municipality doesn’t know”, Lame declared.

Lame added that this request comes from the citizens’ voice who want an answer for the massacre that is going on at the artificial lake.
