Radical groups involved in the fights in Syria pushed the
President to summon the Secret Service Director; the Prosecutor
General and the Prosecutor of Serious Crimes.
The President confirmed that the meeting was for having detailed information about the operations conducted for the purpose to hit radical elements who encouraged these activities.
The meeting comes after eight people were arrested for this reason. Two of them were self-proclaimed imams who are accused of recruiting people for terrorist attack; for making public appeals and inciting propaganda for criminal acts with terrorist purposes, and of encouraging hate between ethnic groups, races and religions.
There have been 90 Albanian citizens so far who have gone to Syria, some even with their children. But it is unclear what position has the Secret Service about this, since they have been keeping these groups under surveillance for two years. It is unclear if the Secret Service had informed the President about their activities.
