Muca: New mosque to be constructed as soon as possible

The Albanian Muslim Community organized the festive program in memory of
prophet Mohamed, which, according to the Islam religion is the stamp of
prophets.
After the performance of the Albanian and foreign artists, the Chairman of the Albanian Muslim Community, Haji Selim Muca asked Prime Minister Berisha and the Mayor of Tirana to accelerate the construction of the biggest mosque in the Albanian capital.
“I want to thank all Muslim devotees, the Prime Minister and the Municipality for the support given for the construction of the new Mosque, which we hope will finally become reality. I invite them to start the construction in the next year”, Selim Muca declared.
Berisha promised that Albania has a series of serious muslim schools, like the Medrese and the Bedër University, which make the Islam speak Albanian throughout the world. The capital also is looking forward to the construction of the new mosque, in this 100th anniversary of independence. We will inaugurate it very soon, with the Mayor”, Berisha declared.
After appreciating the religious harmony in our country, Berisha received a gift from the Turkish artist, Gulsen, an image of the Albanian flag, made with an oriental technique called Ebru.
