MPs react to US Ambassador’s declaration regarding LGBTI

The former Justice Minister, Ylli Manjani, responded to the declaration of the US Ambassador and said that he also is watching the debate in the USA about his involvements, based on the Judicial Watch report.
“You are handing over the justice system to the government. This is more important. I am sorry that I cannot discuss with you in Parliament because I no longer am an MP”, Manjani said.
MP Tritan Shehu says that this declaration of the US Ambassador to Tirana is inappropriate.
“This declaration of the US Ambassador against my personal views on homosexuality is very inappropriate”, Shehu said.
“I have the right to express my views, within the laws of my country. The same way I respect other peoples’ views, I demand others to respect mine”, Shehu said.
