The members of the Dutch Commission for Europe held a fact-collecting visit to Albania, for the five priorities that were imposed to our country.
They met with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama; the Interior Minister, Sander Lleshaj; the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha.
MP Anne Mulder declared that the visit is not related to the request of the Dutch Parliament’s for imposing the visa regime back to Albania.
“We are here on an invitation of the Albanian parliament. The reason of this visit is related to Albania’s EU integration agenda. We are informed and we are aware that the voting of the Dutch Parliament has received a lot of attention in Albania, but this is not the reason of our visit. It is now up to the European Commission to propose a recommendation for Albania. We will discuss the report in the Parliament, after it is published”, said Anne Mulder, Dutch MP.
