MPs, debates for Ristani

The absence of the Central Election Commission Chairman at the
Commission of Laws, Arben Ristani, resulted with a short session full of
debates.

According to the Socialist Party, the presence of the CEC General Secretary was not serious and not sufficient.

But the Chairman of the Commission of Laws, Ilir Rusmali, declared that since this was not a report for the election development, but for the administrative work of CEC, they took under consideration the consensual decision of the Commission of Law Leadership, in which is included the Socialist vice chairman, Fatmir Xhafaj, who was absent during the CEC report at the Commission of Laws.

“I just contacted with the vice Chairman of the Commission of laws, but he didn’t confirm the same thing regarding today’s audience. It is concerning and unforgivable that such an important institution is not represented by its chairman”, declared the Socialist MP, Damian Gjiknuri.

“If you have any concern with the decisions that are taken by the Commission’s Leadership, read the protocol and make a complaint, but we must continue the debate here”, Rusmali declared.

The Commission of laws will plan a draft-resolution for the work of CEC in the last year, so that they can present it in Parliament. But after the meeting, Socialist MP Damian Gjiknuri considered the Commission of Laws meeting as under sabotage.
