MP Prifti wins lawsuit against HIDAA

MP Dritan Prifti won the trial against the High Inspectorate of
Declaration and Audit of Assets, which fined him with 300.000 ALL for
conflict of interest during the time when he was Minister of Economy and
Energy.
On November 2010, HIDAA verified the asset declaration of Mr.Prifti and reached the conclusion that there are conflicts of interests with citizen Rasim Hahzaraj at the Supervisory Council of the Transmission System Operator.
Hahzaraj was fined with the same sum of money. This person, according to the HIDAA, was administering the capitals of the “Fortis” Company, registered on the name of Prifti’s wife.
The case went to Court, which repealed the decision of the HIDAA that fined the former Minister with 300.000 ALL.
