The Council of Mandates will submit two stances to be voted regarding
the mandate of MP Valentina Leskaj, who is accused of having conflict of
interest.

MP Ulsi Manja from the SP said Leskaj has not violated anything based on the current law.

The DP argued all conditions lead to having an interruption of her mandate. Arben Ristani from the DP said the two sons of Mrs.Leskaj have received public funds in two cases.

Ristani referred to article 70 of the Constitution and the conflict of interest law, saying that it affects the case in question.

Ristani added that the DP request is proven by the fact that the sons of Mrs.Leskaj have sold shares from companies they were partners with.
