Mother Theresa will be made a Saint on September 4th, according to Pope
Francis, who explained that the procedure will be held at the Saint
Peter Basilica during the Jubilee of Mercy and not in Calcuta, as the
Church of India was hoping.
Last December Vatican recognized the second wonder of the Albanian born Mother Theresa, the healing of a Brazilian 35-year-old man who had brain tumor, and who was told by doctors he would die.
Thanks to the prayers to Mother Theresa, the young man was healed without any medical intervention.
He first miracle that brought her Beatification in 2003, was the healing of Monica Besra who suffered from stomach cancer.
The extraordinary humanist passed away in September 1997, aged 87. Her Mission had 4000 sisters and a fraternity of 300 members who worked with 610 missions in 123 countries of the world.
