Mother and 4 month baby die in accident

A 28-year-old mother died today together with her 4-month-old sun in a
tragic accident. The tragedy took place at the Kavaja-Plepa road near
golem, where a Mercedes Benz run over the young mother and her baby.
Due to the speed, the crash was fatal for Violeta Metani, from Rrogozhine, and her 4-month baby Sajmir Metani. The woman was crossing the road when he was ran over by the driver Latif Tola, 41, from Has but with residence in England.
This is one of the busiest and less maintained roads in the area. The lack of signs and the difficulties created for the pedestrians in this road that connects Durres and Tirana with Northern Albania has turned into a nightmare for many.
The investment that has not been handed over yet by the firm is not functional at all, and has turned it into a source of accidents. The overpasses are far from each other and the entire area is populated.
