More poverty in Permet

Around 1000 new families have been added to the Permet town in the last
five years. Although these statistics would indicate progress, this has
only impoverished the town.
Permet has 370 families on the dole, or 13% of the residents. The need for medicaments and help is very big, according to the vice Mayor, Vasil Pano.
Currently, Permet has only a few small production activities, such as small workshops and hardware stores that cannot employ the hundreds of residents that have come to the town from the surrounding villages for a better life.
