The Public Health Institution declared this Monday that the number of
patients affected by seasonal viruses has increased with 6%.
Epidemiologist Artan Simaku says that there are 2833 patients throughout the hospitals of Albania who have needed specialized help.
According to Simaku, the number of affected patients is expected to increase. Besides the seasonal flues, another infective disease that has caused health complication is also the salmonella, but the epidemiologists say that there have been no epidemics so far.
According to the weekly PHI report based on the data of public hospitals, the number of affected patients has increased with 5600 people, compared to one year ago.
