The political and post-election situation in Albania has affected the
city of Shkoder for illegal constructions. Many people have profited
from the electoral campaign for building several illegal constructions.
The Shkoder Municipality and Tax Police have undertaken a campaign for
demolishing all constructions built during this period.
Sources from the Construction Inspectorate inform that there are 16 illegal constructions in the center of Shkoder expected to be demolished in the following days. Meanwhile, the Inspectorate has demolished today some constructions that were added to existing business structures in one of Shkoder’s main road. The Inspectorate intervention was accompanied by police forces.
