The Parliament of Montenegro removed immunity of four opposition MPs, accused of encouraging violence inside the institution.
A similar measure was taken this February against two pro-Russian MPs, Andrija Mandic and Millan Knezhevic, after they started a fight inside the Parliament.
Mandic and Knezhevic were stripped of their immunity due to suspicions for being involved in a coup.
Four MPs are being stripped of immunity in total, after a very tense session that lasted until midnight. The motion against them was requested by the Prosecution Office.
Montenegro became a NATO member just a few months after a failed coup was avoided, allegedly planned by Russia.
