“Montenegro has not betrayed Serbia, because Kosovo is not part of Montenegro, but an independent country. Montenegro has not betrayed Serbia because Montenegro is not part of Serbia”, reacted the Interior Minister of Montenegro to the comments of Serbia, after Podgorica decided to send two KFOR officers to Kosovo.
For this reason, the Serbian Minister of Defense, Alexandar Vulin, said that this decision of Montenegro is not friendly at all.
But the Serbian Defense Minister, Predgrag Moshkovic, said that the decision was right and the only option.
He underlined that it was taken for pragmatic reasons, for contributing to the regional security.
He reminded that Vucic has said that KFOR is the biggest guarantee of security to the Serbian community in Kosovo.
“This is why this decision of Montenegro can be against Serbia only if the entire mission is against guarding peace in Kosovo”, he said.
