An unusual situation has been created in Durres, after one person
resisted and did not accept to free the apartment that is supposed to
return to owners.
Police has blocked the road segment for security reasons, by causing dense traffic in other axes of the city. The businesses in the first floor of the building where the 60-year-old man is resisting have been already closed.
Isuf Gjilani threatened to kill himself by jumping from the fourth floor if the bailiffs will implement the executive order that obliges his family to leave the house. In a desperate state, he started to threaten the bailiffs and local police by throwing Molotov bombs towards them.
The negotiation efforts have failed with the 60-year-old man who has been living in that apartment for 45 years. Police asked RENEA for help, and a few minutes later, the special forces have convinced the 60-year-old man to stop resisting.
