Mojsiu: Killing in Afghanistan, a coward act

Before commenting the presence of the Albanian military forces in
Afghanistan, the former President, Alfred Moisiu, expressed his
condolences to the family of Captain Feti Vogli. The former President
says that he is familiar with this kind of sorrow.
“This loss is very serious, and I have experienced it in my family, not only with my son. But this time, this was a disloyalty”, the former President declared. It was a disloyalty, because the Albanian military men were shot by people with Afghan Police uniforms”, the President declared.
Loyal to Albania’s Atlantic Commitment, the former President says that there was no reason to withdraw from Afghanistan.
“We are committed, we are part of the NATO, and whoever has withdrawn, has made a mistake. NATO has made a unanimous decision for this humane mission, and unanimous should be the decision for leaving the country”, the former President declared.
Albania has been engaged in Afghanistan for several years, and Alfred Moisiu has visited the Albanian troops as a President.
