The Ministry of Health reported today on the Covid-19 situation in the last 24 hours, saying that 159 new cases have been recorded and a citizen from Tirana has lost his life.
Positive cases were identified in the following municipalities:
87 in Tirana, 11 in Elbasan, 9 in Fier, 7 in Berat, 5 in Durrës, from 4 cases each in Korçë, Gjirokastër, 3 cases in Krujë, Lezhë, Vlorë, Dibër, Kuçovë, from 2 cases in Shkodër, Klos, Gramsh, 1 case each in Lushnjë, Mirditë, Kamëz, Pogradec, Saranda, Delvinë, Divjakë, Fushë-Arrëz, Memaliaj, Vora, Cerrik.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection pleaded with the citizens for the placement of masks in confined environments, as an effective measure in curbing the infection, and as a result, the reduction of hospital patients and fatalities from COVID19.
