Shpëtim Moçka, the goalkeeper of the Flamurtari team, who was badly injured
after he was hit by hard objects that were thrown in the Laçi stadium field, was
sent unconscious at the coastal town of Vlora.
The doctor of the Vlora hospital medic team says that after receiving the first aid at Laçi, Moçka was sent at the Vlora hospital.
“There is a wound on the head with a hematoma. The bleeding was stopped, but the patient doesn’t remember what happened. There are still serious problems, because he has a hard hearing from the right ear”, the doctor says.
Moçka was visited by the Vlora team president, Shpëtim Gjika, who requested immediate investigations and demanded the authorities to take the necessary measures.
”These are the criminal acts of an outgoing government. This event must be urgently investigated, and the respective authorities must take measures”, said Gjika.
But the respective authorities see this event from a different point of view, which is expected to spur hard reactions. Although the incident was extremely grave and reprehensible, the Kurbini Chief of Police did not blame the Laçi football fans, but oddly, the injured goalkeeper himself. The Chief of Police is trying to minimize the grave event, declaring that the incident happened after a provocation.
According to the Laçi Chief of Police, his agents have been able to neutralize a conflict that, according to him, could have been fatal. He also added that no player of the Vlora team has filed any suit for the situation.
The bus of the Flamurtari team was attacked with stones after the match, while the police should have started the investigations for the acts occurring in front of their eyes. Laçi Chief of Police says that they have identified the person that broke one window of the Vlora football team.
