Mitrovica shooting, 1 dead

One person died and another one was wounded today in Mitrovica, after a gunfight in the center of the city.

The shots were heard from the southern part of the city, and Police suspects that a moving car has shot against another car, then leaving the scene, while the Police is looking for the suspects.

According to the Kosovo Police Spokesperson for Mitrovica, Besim Hoti, there is no report for the circumstances of this event, besides the fact that there were used three weapons of different calibers.

According to the Kosovo media, the police authorities have excluded ethnic clashes, underlining that it has a criminal background.

Same sources added that the police has identified the shooters as notorious criminals of the are and is looking for them.
