13/04/2012 00:00

The Albanian residents of the Mitrovica villages were isolated by the
Serbian roadblocks. After the failed attempts of the Kosovo government
and international forces for removing them, they decided to take the
matter in their own hands and remove the roadblocks.

Top Channel learned that the Albanian residents have removed a roadblock with a bulldozer,  freeing the road that connects Koshtoca, Vllahia, Bistrica and Cerraja, all of them with Albanian majority.

The intervention was made in presence of KFOR, which did not stop the Albanian reisdents.

This road was blocked on Thursday, after the declarations of the Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, saying that a similar action as that of 25 July would be taken.
